Xijie Cup Nielsen Saipendriss wins the championship

On May 6th, Beijing time, Taylor Pendrith seized Ben Kohles’ last hole mistake and won his first US Tour victory in the Byron Nelson Seagate Cup.
Ben Coles caught a bird on holes 16 and 17, overtaking Taylor Pendry and taking the lead with one shot, but on hole 18, he hit the long grass by the green with his second shot and swallowed a bogey. Having to make two cuts from the long grass, Ben Coles missed the 6-foot push that sent the game into the overtime.
Taylor Pendry, however, pushed and caught birds twice in hole 18. He pushed in a 3-foot putter and hit 67, 4 below par, and 261 in four rounds at TPC Craig Ranch, 23 below par. Canadian 32 year old athlete Pendreis won the 74th stop of the US Tour.

On the field not far from his birthplace Dallas, Ben Coles hit 66 strokes, falling behind by one stroke and ranking second. He has not yet won the US Tour.

Swedish athlete Alex Noren is also striving for his first victory on the US Tour, delivering 65 strokes and 263 strokes in four rounds, 21 strokes below par, ranking third.

Aaron Rai (64) and the first round leader, English man Matt Wallace (68), delivered 264 strokes, 20 strokes below par, tied with two South Korean players An Byung hoon (65) and Seong Hyeon Kim (64) in fourth place.

36 hole leader Jake Knapp worked as a security guard in a nightclub three years ago and hit 70 shots in the final round, ranking eighth.

Amateur player Chris King, who was 16 years old, advanced to the US Tour for the first time. He caught a bird in the last hole and hit 73 shots, hitting 278 (68-67-70-73), 6 below par, ranking 65th.
