LIV Singapore Station Copca Achieves Fourth Victory Tears Team Wins Two Weeks in a Row

On May 6th, Beijing time, Brooks Copca hit 68 strokes on Sunday, 3 strokes below par, winning the LIV Golf Singapore stop. This is the fourth victory that Americans have achieved in LIV Golf.

Brooks Copka’s three round score was 198 strokes, 15 strokes below par, leading Australian players Mark Leishmann and Cameron Smith by 2 strokes. At the Sentosa Golf Club, Mark Leishmann finished with 66 strokes, while Cameron Smith hit 64 strokes.

Brooks Copca caught four birds in the last round and swallowed one bogey.

Brooks Copca has won 5 Grand Slam victories beyond 4 LIV championships. The most recent one was won at the 2023 US PGA Championship. This season, LIV Golf held 7 races, giving birth to 7 different champions.

Brooks Copka has been struggling with his football skills, but now when he goes to Valhalla to defend his US PGA championship, he shows a turning point.

“Starting to improve a bit,” Brooks Copka said after winning, “I put in a lot of hard work, both on and off the field. It’s really great to see the final victory.”

Joan Ram has not won since joining LIV Golf in December last year. He hit 67 strokes today, ultimately falling behind by 6 strokes and tied for tenth place. Joan Ram is the only player to make it to the top ten in all seven races in 2024.

Rippers won the team championship. Mark Leishmann and Cameron Smith led the team to tear apart, delivering 32 strokes below par in three days, leading the other two teams by 3 strokes: Fireball and Cleeks.
